Acer invited a host of influencers,media and active members of the Indian Gaming Industry at Taj Santacruz on August 6 for the launch of their brand new laptops. We were obliged to be among the ones to receive an invite. As we entered Taj Santacruz, our eyes latched on to a host of acquaintances from the Industry. The place was crawling with known influencers and active players. We gazed upon the variants of the new launches ACER had on offer.
Besides the eight new variants of high-end Laptops, Acer also revealed a 32-inch full-curved monitor at a price of INR 17,999.

 ACER PREDATOR TRITON 900 




The most powerful of the launches was the Predator Triton 900. Boasting of four modes - Notebook, Tablet, Display, Ezel - thanks to the Taiwanese organization’s cutting-edge Ezel Aero Hinge technology, the machine was powered by a Core i9 Intel processor with an NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPU to enable smoothness and high-end gaming.

To add to the smoothness, the laptop comes with 2 x 512 GB Solid State Drives and has a 17.3 inch 4K UHD Touchsreen Display that will capture the tiniest of pixels and will be a treat for buyers who wish to play Story Mode games. Triton 900 is currently listed on their website at USD 4799.99.

 ACER PREDATOR TRITON 500 




Not as powerful, but still packing a punch is the Predator Triton 500, with an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 144Hz 15.6 inch HD display. The rest of the features are pretty much the same, except the Ezel Aero Hinge technology. The Triton 500 will be available from INR 1,65,999 and rising, depending on the variant.

 ACER PREDATOR HELIOS 700 




The best of the Helios range, Helios 700 comes packed with 9th generation Core i9 Intel processors and a 17 inch HD 144hz Display. Buyers can choose variants up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. But, what is unique about the Helios 700 is it offers buyers the option to choose between NVIDIA RTX’s 2080 and 2070. The Helios 700 will be available to enthusiasts for a starting price of INR 2,49,999.
This laptop gains its unique identity from its HyperDrift keyboard, when the keyboard slides over it increases the airflow, helping to boost its performance as well as comforting the user. this is not the only feature of this keyboard, it has per-key RGB lighting, anti-ghosting keys, customizable MagForce Keys, also there are additional keys, turbo key - to unlock one-click overclocking and other for predator sense

 ACER PREDATOR HELIOS 300 




Powered by 9th generation Core i7 Intel processors, Helios 300 goes one step further and gives the prospective buyers the option of choosing the HD Display Size - 15 or 17 inches. Helios 300 offers up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and does have a unique feature in the fact that the machine will be equipped with a mechanical storage device along with Solid State Drives. Helios 300 will be retailed at INR 99,999 and INR 1,14,999 respectively for the two screen sizes.

 ACER NITRO 7 



Coming to the section of the ‘affordable’ mean machines, Acer has launched the Nitro 7. The 15.6 inch HD Display is backed by 9th generation Intel processors and the latest versions of NVIDIA GPUs. The unique specification of Nitro 7 is that it is equipped with a 2 TB storage capacity along with the Solid State Drives. Nitro 7 will be listed for a starting price of INR 84,999.

 ACER NITRO 5 




Acer Nitro 5 will also be powered by 9th generation Intel processors and will offer two Display variants - 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches. The rest of the features are pretty much similar to the other machines launched by ACER at Taj Santacruz on August 6. The 15.6 inch variant will be available from INR 59,999 while the price for the 17.3 inch variant is yet to be revealed.
