500 Apps Removed from Google Playstore


Google has removed approximately 500 applications from playstore on account of spyware threat.The applications included many games,weather,online radio,photo editing,fitness,health etc. applications claiming that they are malicious.



It was discovered that a advertising software development kit (SDK) named "lgexin" is malicious.According to the US based cyber firm this SDK has the ability to covertly siphon people's personal and important data without alerting the app makers .This SDK is embedded in the application and has communication with the outside servers and and spread malware.
